Lenox Mercedes is a senior operations and strategic partnerships executive with more than twenty years of experience spanning higher education, government, corporate, and entertainment sectors. He is the founder of Mercy Rock LLC, the creator of the Dad Intel Pro content universe, and the on-camera host of both Dad Intel Pro and Papa Intel Pro.
His institutional background includes Morehouse College, where he served as Assistant Director of Housing and Residential Life; municipal contract management directing a $10 million portfolio for the City of St. Louis; and international supply chain operations for Philip Morris International across five Latin American markets. He is the founder of High Gravity Projects, a fifteen-year boutique consulting practice whose flagship property — High Gravity Hip Hop, the first hip-hop craft beverage festival in the United States — pioneered a format that has since been widely replicated across the country.
Before the boardroom, there was the mic. As a recording artist, spoken word performer, actor, and creative writer — MC, Hip-Hop (Ret.) — Lenox developed the performer's instinct that now makes him the right person to sit across from men telling the hardest story of their lives. He knows how to hold a room. He knows how to hold a moment.
He is a former administrator at Morehouse College, a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, a practicing Christian from a multigenerational family of pastors, and a native-level bilingual communicator in English and Spanish with Afro-Latino roots in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. Originally from Queens, New York, he is based in Georgia. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management.
He is also a father navigating co-parenting in real time. He is not an outside observer of the stories his company tells. He is inside them — which is the credential that matters most for this work.
